Is Pashur your real name?
Yes. The name Pashur is from the Holy Bible. Jeremiah 20:1. Apparently he was
a bad guy
Do you have a banner that I can put on my site?
You are too kind. Yes, email me and I will email the banner to you.
Did you design your website?
You better believe it baby! I designed the overall look of the website and
Barry Schieferstein of Columbus, OH did all of the hard stuff like programming
the code.
Where did you attend college?
Memphis College of Art. How I survived that city I am still trying to figure
out.
When did you realize you wanted to be an artist?
I have been drawing ever since I can remember and have known since childhood
that I would grow up to be an artist. Some of my earliest memories are of
me at age 3 drawing a scuba diver, of course it looked like spaghetti slapped
on paper, but it was a scuba diver all the same.
Do you do other art other than body painting?
Yes, I do design, humorous illustration, medical illustration, storyboards
and murals.

BODY PAINTING FAQs
How long does it take you bodypaint a model?
I get lost in the creative process and time slips away…Not buying that
are you? It takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 4 hours depending on how much
of the body I am painting and how detailed the bodypainting artwork is. The
average full body design takes about 2 -3 hours.
How did you get started in the bodypainting scene?
The tabloids and I have two totally different versions of this story. My version
of the story (which is the true version) is that I used to draw caricatures
in a theme park, which led to me facepainting, which led me to doing facepainting
with an airbrush. The artist in me wanted to do more elaborate creative works
which resulted in the bodypainting.
Can I order bodypainting prints of your work?
Yes, depending on the individual piece of art. If possible, I can get the model
and photographer to sign it as well. Heck, I can even get the person who
developed the picture to sign it for you too if you want (but why would you
want to?). That is how far I am willing to go for my customers and clients.

Do you only paint women?
No. I prefer to paint females because I love the female form, but artisticly
I have no problem painting a male. It is much more fun watching the paint
dry on the female models too.
Can you teach me how to body paint?
I have body painting workshops I do. It is a full day class. Contact me for
more info.
How do you pick the women that you use in your art work?
People contact me asking me to paint them and I put them into my database and
when the right project comes along I drop them an email asking them to pose.
Do you take the photographs of your body painting work?
No. I usualy collaborate with photographers on this. Maybe one day I will,
but for now..I will focus on the body painting art itself.

AIRBRUSH TATTOO FAQs
How many designs do you have?
I have close to 200 colorful designs to choose from on sleek display boards.
How long does it take to get an airbrush tattoo?
It takes only 10 - 15 seconds to apply your design.
How many designs can you paint in an hour?
I can paint up to 240 - 360 designs an hour. When I did the events for the
Nashville Kats I only had 2 designs to choose from so the line went super
fast. When I toured with Brooks and Dunn, my daily average was 1000 designs
in 4 hours and they only had 9 designs to choose from so it went fast too.
The more designs to choose form the slower it goes.
What do you use for paint?
I actually don't use paint at all. I use a safe, FDA approved, hypo-allergenic,
airbrush make-up to apply the designs. So the material is safe on the persons
skin and they won't break out in a rash or grow a third arm.
How long does it take for the paint (make-up) to dry?
It takes only seconds for the make-up to dry.
How do I remove the airbrush tattoo?
The tattoos are water resistant, and yet removes easily with water by just
adding soap.
Can you create a custom tattoo for my event?
Yes, with enough notice I can create custom designs for your event, including
your company logo and/or mascot.
Can you paint hair?
Yes, I can paint hair. Teenagers really love this. I call it..Pashur's Hair
Club for Teens.
Can you paint colors that glow in the dark?
I do have colors that glow under black light upon request. That means you have
to ask for it nicely.
Do you paint airbrush tattoos on adults too?
Of course. I would say way over 50% of the people I paint are adults.
How much do you charge for airbrush tattoos?
Rates vary per project, however my standard fee is $100 an hour for airbrush
tattoos.
Do you do real tattoos?
I can design a permanent tattoo for you, but I do not ink them. When it comes
to tattoos my specialty is fake tattoos that wash off.
